Development Management


As the development manager, Greenstone Group takes ownership of the development project, from conception to completion. The development manager controls all the key tasks and team members so that the project achieves the objectives of profit, quality and timely delivery.

Greenstone Group's role is to represent the project owner and client to create the best property product possible. We manage all key functions surrounding the project including bulk and location studies, finance and feasibility, town planning, marketing and leasing, lease negotiation, and the facilitation of the building process through to completion and hand-over.

Development management can be an all-encompassing role, with Greenstone Group directly involved in all levels of the development. Alternatively, Greenstone Group can be retained to act as an independent project auditor or client representative.

Key development management functions include:

The option also exists where a client can select certain development management functions for Greenstone Group to complete. Greenstone Group's skills can be applied to projects ranging in value from $2m to $100m across a broad range of industry sectors.

Feasibilities and Project Finance

The provision of feasibility analyses of various potential projects for a specific site.

We have been able to assist in the securing of first and second mortgage funding on a number of our clients' projects. We have close relationships with a range of finance providers and understand their requirements. Just as importantly, we are able to structure our requests for funding in a format that banks and financiers find clear and acceptable. Our systems are well understood by funders and they gain confidence in our ability to highlight the key financial elements of the various projects.

Greenstone Group has relationships with equity and joint venture partners and may be able to assist on projects at a stage where traditional funders cannot.
