AUCKLAND'S NEW GATEWAY HOTEL

On the 27th of May 2011, the Maori King Tuheitia and Prime Minister Rt Hon John Key opened the Hotel Novotel at the Auckland Airport. This hotel is an impressive gateway building for international travellers arriving in New Zealand.

This hotel development was a joint venture between Tainui Group Holdings, Accor and Auckland International Airport. The requirement for completion prior to the World Cup was met with ease and the budget goals were achieved.

Greenstone Group acted as project managers, architects were Warren and Mahoney and the contractor was Hawkins Construction.
