Chris Hale

Chris has gained extensive experience in the commercial, office, hospitality, industrial, multi-unit residential, retirement village, food processing, cold storage, refurbishment, fit-out and educational sectors over the past 27 years, through practical (hands-on) and management involvement, in both main contractor and project & construction management organisations.
Prior to joining Greenstone Group, Chris was Project Director for a multi-national project and construction group with responsibility for the overview of the project and construction management of numerous projects including:
- Tranz Rail’s Head office building on Smales Farm in Takapuna, Auckland and
- 3 retirement villages of over 200 units each.
Prior to this Chris was General Manager for a major construction company in both Auckland and Wellington. He also held various project and construction management roles for another major construction group over a 13 year period.
Chris is actively involved in the New Zealand Institute of Building, being a Past President of the Northern Chapter, and is currently Treasurer for the Northern Chapter and on the organising committee for the NZIOB Awards for Excellence in the Building Professions.
