LA Central Offices is a proposed 52,000sqm office park on a greenfields site in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
The project received resource consent for the proposal in May 2008. The proposal involves building seven four level buildings on the flat three hectare site. It is a master planned office campus aiming to provide a strong level of amenity for tenants with the neighbouring developments which consist of food, convenience, entertainment and health and lifestyle services.
Each of the seven buildings has been individually designed to take advantage of their elevated position on the site, offering views over the Stonefields wetland and Remuera Golf Course.
In addition the buildings have been designed to a four greenstar level under the NZ Green Building Council rating system.
Greenstone Group actively managed the project to achieve resource consent as a controlled activity. This is a very rare occurrence.
The project aims to achieve status as a destination office park with a high level of amenity at an affordable cost. Greenstone Group was also actively involved in the marketing of the site. This involved the establishment of marketing collateral to support the development such as branding, billboards, model, website and brochure.
