Greenstone Group was engaged to manage the concept and detailed design of a resort hotel. Greenstone Group introduced international resort architects to the project and managed a collaborative design process between the international and local architectural firms.
On completion of feasibility studies and financial modelling Greenstone Group managed the resource consent process, and achieved a non-notified resource consent for this $200M project.
Key components of the resort included
- 200 50sqm suites
- 45 luxury villas
- 500 person capacity conference centre
- 3 restaurants
As designed, the resort would provide New Zealand's first truly international standard resort hotel.
